ABOUT ME

Harley Duck is an artist, teacher, curator, and was once called a gentleman and a scholar by a guy at the bank. His works frequently subvert or combine contexts, whether the situations in which they were created or the weight of art history, literature, and other media. These notions are often accompanied by his interests in the unremarkable phenomena of lived environments and the distortion of reality.

Harley holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree with Distinction in English and Studio Art from the University of Guelph, and a Museum and Gallery Studies Graduate Certificate from Georgian College. He lives and works in Orangeville, Ontario.
