Harley Duck is called a “hermit artist” by his mom. He frequently envisions images taken from the common lived environment and transports and transforms them into methodical paintings and drawings. His influences from literature, music, and other media are often combined with unremarkable phenomena and a distortion of reality, be it through simple transcription of a source image into a work, or creating a vague collage of references. Harley approaches his artistic output based on observation and the process of creation, following an idea into the art form it appears to be best suited to.
Harley also is the founder and instructor of Eraser Tip Art Classes, a business teaching lessons in the fundamentals and advanced stages of various fine art techniques and mediums.
